My 67th Music Video

Let It Be... Water

Extraordinary real life adventure inspires extraordinary music video

HAIKU, Maui, Apr 19, 2012 - "Let it be... Water."  The last seven days around here at the Rainbow Shower have been all about this nature's soothing and healing element.  Two days ago, I understood why.  A friend and a fellow-Steward of the Earth from London sent us a story about the solar flares.  It was a channeling download from the ancient Egyptian goddess Hathor whose energies, I have been told by Ahtun Re, I also have. Here's an excerpt:

You are now entering a more heightened period of solar and galactic activity in which the magnetosphere of your Earth is being struck by erratic and increasingly strong streams of solar energy.

You will be seeing an ever-increasing number of solar flares and fluctuations that are highly unusual. These fluctuations in the sun are being driven by internal forces, as well as by streams of energy from the central sun of your galaxy. Adding to this complexity of interactions are high intensity streams of energy from deep space. The magnetic field of your sun is being affected, and in point of fact, it is being twisted, contorted, and all of this is having an effect upon the magnetic field of your Earth and the magnetic fields of your bodies. With increased solar activity of this type, you will see an ever-increasing intensity of weather anomalies, as well as increased earthquake and volcanic activity.

Of course, that's nothing new for the Stewards of the Earth. We had been warned about that by our guides and teachers before. But there was one thing Hathor said that struck me especially: "A second method {of protecting oneself from negative solar flares) allows you to soothe your physical body through the water element."

"Soothe your physical body through the water element." That's exactly what Elizabeth and I did this Sunday April 15 without consciously understanding why. We were obviously guided to do it. And it happened the day after I had made that short music video that had to do with Water (Aquarius): Aquarius Earth Music for and by Gaia (Apr 14),

I woke up Sunday morning feeling Elizabeth and I needed to go to Waimoku Falls, a magnificent 400-ft waterfall in south Maui. I don't know why. She had never been there before. I went there by myself on St Patrick's Day 2011 (see St. Patrick's Day 2011: Exciting, Unpredictable (Mar 17).

It was raining when we left home [here goes that Water element again].  We were driving in our topless "El Jeepo." :-) [

By the time we made it to the southwest side of the island, the rain had stopped (see above shots).  But at the start of the Waimoku Trail, and all the way along the deep canyon's four-mile round trip hike, we were soaked. The ground was wet and muddy.  The creeks and the waterfalls were roaring, creating additional mist in the air.  And before we got to the Waimoku Falls, we had to wade through the rushing creek twice over rugged, sharp-edged rocks.

For most, the water was knee-deep (see photos left and right).  For me, however, it was shoulder-deep on the left side of my body, hip-deep on the right.  On the our back, I had stepped into a deep crevice and lost my balance, plunging into the creek head and shoulder first. Luckily I did not get injured.  Only got a small bruise on the left knee.  Even more miraculously, my expensive Canon camera continued to work without a glitch despite being submerged in the roaring creek for a second or two.  Alas, my prescription glasses did not return from the trip. The river took them. So it goes...

A year ago, I just strolled across the rocks at the same place   What a difference from the wild and woolly Waters of Waimoku Falls this weekend.  Shortly after I returned, I was inspired to compose this music on the theme of Water (Water Improvisation, Apr 6, 2011).

"It just won't do," I told Elizabeth after watching this video following our Sunday adventure.

"What won't do?" she said.

"The music I wrote a year ago.  It's too serene, to gentle, for the kind of experience we have had.

So on Monday night and Tuesday morning, I composed another rendition of Water as a powerful, life-changing transformational element.  Here it is... Water - Mix (Apr 18, 2012).

But that still did not paint the full picture of the Divine presence we experienced during that Sunday trek.  Elizabeth called it a baptism.  I called a rebirth.

And then, as I rolled the film of our Sunday adventure through my mind, I began to hear the sounds and the words "Let It Be."

"So maybe I need to create a new blended music video and name it 'Let It Be... Water'," I thought.

I've now spent the last three days doing it.  It was probably the most challenging video and sound recording and integration project I have undertaken so far.  Besides the piano version of the famous last Beatles theme (click on Let It Be - Piano & Tibetan Bowls, Apr 18), which I originally created 42 years ago (the album "Let It Be" came out in March 1970, just as the Beatles announced their breakup), you will hear six different instruments.

[It may be fun to try to figure out what they are. Let me know what you hear, if you feel like it.  Here's a Let It Be Mix (Apr 18)].

Anyway, with that as a preamble, here's now a music video about the day that, on a spur of the moment, turned into an amazing (and very wet) adventure, as befits the start of the Era of Aquarius (Water):

"Let It Be... Water" (Apr 19, 2012)

At the end of the day, we also visited Pele's final resting place on this planet - the Koki Beach south of Hana (again Water).
